Who we are

Nearly 12 years ago, in 1996, Fundación Brasilia was born as an institution with no profit motive. Its primary objective is to develop Latin American culture in Mendoza, Argentina, through the language, literature, cinema, festivals and typical cuisine of each country. Nowadays, frontiers are spreading, inviting travellers from all over the world to share this culture.

The name "Brasilia" is due to the city of Brasilia, geodesic centre of South America, uniting all the cultures from East to West and from North to South of this part of the continent.
